Pukka teas - Tè Pukka - A great tea moment

The first time I have tried a Pukka tea, it was in Edinburgh, one year ago. Since then I have been looking everywhere to find that amazing Gorgeous Earl Grey and finally I found it! Online on the Pukka Teas website: easy, honest and client oriented. I usually prefer to buy things in a real store where I can touch, smell and feel the product, but in this case I couldn't find the product that made me fall in love with black teas a year ago! So I decided to shop online and let it flow! The website is super easy and even buying from Italy the process was very smooth. The parcel arrived in gorgeous boxes and the overall experience was great! I also ordered some other blends beside the Earl Grey to try something different with the guarantee of a great brand which is very friendly with the planet! The Earl Grey is blended with bergamot essential oil and lavender and the taste is delicate but rich.

I ordered 4 boxes of the Earl Grey and 4 different other blends to try. Those are: Harmonise which is a great tea with the wonderful taste of rose, hibiscus, chamomile and shatavari. Green Chai, much more delicate and particular than any other regular Chai. The Supreme Matcha Green and finally the Serene Jasmine Green. I really have to say that these teas are really amazing. They are organic, yes. But that's not it! Finally I have found teas that are tasty, rich and with great ingredient but mostly they are light and delicate. In the past I have tried teas which required me a real effort in terms of digestion and nervous system... I am very happy about this brand, as a former tea lover I have to say: well done Pukka Teas! Honesty and quality are always the secret of a great success!

Recensione estiva - Gelsoj Gelato vegetale

Ieri da Despar ho notato nelle offerte del banco freezer una vaschetta piuttosto interessante: il gelato vegetale! Ne ho provati di vari tipi e marche, ma mai questo specifico "Gelsoj" prodotto dalla Mancuso Gelati. Prima di tutto apprezzo la lista ingredienti. Fare un gelato di soia non è facilissimo, soprattutto quando lo si deve vendere alla grande distribuzione; rispetto ai suoi concorrenti il Gelsoj se la cava piuttosto bene in questo senso. I gusti: crema e nocciola.
Io lo ho scelto per la nocciola, perchè ho sempre odiato la crema, ma questo gelato mi ha fatto cambiare completamente idea! La nocciola è poco saporita ed ha un retrogusto alcolico. La crema invece è divina e ricorda la Crema Catalana (se aggiungete della cannella è perfetto). Il gelato rimane morbido e non contiene molta acqua, quindi è facile da servire. Nel complesso anche se costa intorno ai 4 euro, sono molto soddisfatta di questa scelta e spero che l'azienda proverà a produrre altri gusti e curare meglio la nocciola ;) Anche se l'estate è fredda e burrascosa, un buon gelato ci sta sempre!
